Yonkers emcee Iman Nunez has released new single and video "want ur luv," just in time for Valentine's Day.
"The song opens with raw vulnerability as Iman lays his emotions bare, singing, 'I just want your love, Don’t need nothing else, Hold me in your arms, Can’t be by myself,'" the press release reads. "The opening lines immediately establish the emotional foundation of the record, highlighting the need for comfort, closeness, and security."
Meanwhile, "directed by Dre Hartwell alongside Iman Nunez, the official video visually brings these themes to life. Scenes of shared intimacy, from browsing books together to dancing to vinyl records, paint a tender portrait of love rooted in presence and emotional connection rather than spectacle."
