The Live Beat: Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons are easing out of 2025 with momentum fully intact. As they wrap a U.K. arena run behind Rushmere—including a pair of sold-out nights at London’s O2—the band is already looking forward, lining up fresh music and a slate of live dates that stretch well into next year.

The biggest headline: a brand-new album. Prizefighter, due out February 13, 2026, marks the band’s sixth studio release and hints at a broader sonic palette. The project features collaborations with Chris Stapleton, Gracie Abrams, Gigi Perez, and Hozier—an eclectic lineup that suggests Mumford & Sons are continuing to evolve while staying rooted in the emotional pull that’s defined their career.

On the live front, the band is keeping things fluid and festival-forward. They’ll close out this year with two special U.S. appearances: Wild Horses Festival in San Diego on December 27, followed by an intimate-feeling stop at Belly Up Aspen on December 28. It’s a calm-before-the-storm moment before 2026 kicks into gear.

January brings a destination-style performance at Out Of The Blue Festival in Cancún, Mexico, happening sometime between January 8–11, while February sees Mumford & Sons added to the lineup for Inning Festival in Tempe, Arizona, during its February 20–22 run. Exact set times and bill placement are still under wraps, but expectations are already high.

From there, the tour path stretches overseas. April includes three dates across Australia, followed by a New Zealand show in May—proof that this next era is shaping up to be truly global.

With Prizefighter on the horizon and a mix of festivals and select dates rolling out, Mumford & Sons appear less interested in rushing and more focused on intention—choosing moments, places, and collaborators that feel right. For fans, it’s shaping up to be a rewarding season of live shows and new music worth the wait.
