Universal Audio Inc. has announced that it has introduced A‑Type Multiband Dynamic Enhancer, "a UAD plug‑in that delivers the first and only end-to-end emulation of the vintage multiband 'compansion' processor famous for instantly pushing vocals straight to the front of any mix."
"Exclusively available for Apollo audio interfaces and UAD hardware, the UAD A‑Type plug‑in brings the iconic Air, Excite, and Expand effects used on classic albums from Queen and AC/DC to Journey and Fleetwood Mac," they said. "Plus, creators can get explosive compression effects with Crush and Gated modes, noise reduction decoding, and plug-in only features with the circuit mods panel."
