Soundtoys Announces $53,640 Donation to the International Rescue Committee

In March 2022, Soundtoys made an ongoing pledge to donate 100% of sales from Radiator to not-for-profit organizations as a way for Soundtoys users to help people in need. The audio effects leader announced that $53,640 was donated to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to make good on this promise. The IRC’s mission is to help civilians whose lives are shattered by conflict and disaster in more than 50 countries around the world, including Gaza, Ukraine, Lebanon, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Haiti, and Afganistan.

“It can be disheartening to see so much division and violence in the world, but I’m always encouraged by the outpouring of support we get when we try to raise awareness and support for the causes that we believe in,” said Ken Bogdanowicz, founder and CEO of Soundtoys. “We’re proud of the work the International Rescue Committee is doing, and we’re proud of our creative and caring community who continue to help us help others.“

The IRC helps those affected by humanitarian crises (including climate crises) to survive, recover and rebuild through aid, action, and advocacy. Donations are allocated to areas where the need is greatest, and all efforts are focused on safety, health, education, financial wellbeing, and empowerment – particularly for women and girls. The organization makes direct impact by delivering assistance in crisis-affected communities and collaborating with other NGOs to assess needs and provide essential assistance. The IRC advocates for resettlement of the most vulnerable refugees, protection of rights to asylum, commitments to international humanitarian law, and appropriate financing and policy to respond to the evolving needs of people in crisis.

“The humanitarian imperative, and the principles of neutrality, impartiality, independence, and humanity which drive it forward have never been more needed.” – International Rescue Committee

Soundtoys will continue to donate all proceeds from Radiator to organizations they feel are making an important difference. The next recipient of Radiator proceeds is Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders, who provide urgent medical humanitarian assistance for people and

places that have been stricken by war or natural disaster – often putting their own lives at risk in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.
