Hunter Burgan Signs With Waldman Management as Producer

Musician Hunter Burgan, who currently plays bass in rock band AFI, has signed with Waldman Management as a producer. New manager Scott Waldman, assisted by Emily Berke, will work with Hunter to boost his credits behind the board.

"I'm very happy to be working with Hunter," said Waldman. "I've been a fan of AFI for over two decades and Hunter is gifted, kind, and a pleasure to work with. We can't wait for the world to see what he can do behind the scenes".

Hunter has been a permanent member of AFI since 1997, with the band most recently releasing The Missing Man EP this past December.

The Los Angeles based producer and musician has recently produced tracks for electro-punk group WASI and dark-pop band Holy Wars, whose single "Born Dark" garnered acclaim from Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, Revolver Magazine, Atwood Magazine, and more.

On his new leap into producing, Hunter said, "As a multi-instrumentalist with a decades long recording career and musical taste spanning many genres, I find that producing is a natural fit. I’m excited to be focusing on this chapter of my career."

Waldman Management began in 2015 by Scott Waldman, former bassist of The City Drive (Sony/BMG) and current host of Waldman's Words on idobi Radio. The company's current roster includes multiple producers, artists, and songwriters throughout numerous genres.
