FiXT has announced the signing of prolific U.K. Drum and Bass artist Prolix, joining the label's roster for a full-length album expected in 2024.
Prolix will be a familiar name to most hardened Drum and Bass heads, as well as FiXT fans, with a back catalog that has seen releases on some of the most prolific and respected labels in the industry such as RAM, Playaz & Ganja Tek, VISION, Blackout, Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz, Viper, Virus, and Shogun Audio. His unique style of production has achieved international recognition.
Today he's united with Ethan Cronin for a unique 90s-tinged grunge rock meshed with the drum & bass single “In Your Head.”
The Track features an ethereal vocal performance at the outset, eerily reminiscent of the Deftones before thrashing guitars and heavy rhythms take over and propel the track forward into a pure rock soundscape, only to drop into drum & bass halfway through with energetic and fierce rhythms throughout.
