Megadeth

"I Don't Care"

From Megadeth’s final album (maybe)…a song with a simple, angry message that rebellious souls of any age can sing along to.

Ecca Vandal

"Molly"

When Vandal’s blistering bop “Molly” popped up in my Instagram feed late last year, I knew my algorithm was doing its job. The catchy track’s title might be a drug ref, but the song is much deeper, exploring how relationships fade and how getting faded might be an escape, but it only masks the rough stuff. Speaking of rough, Vandal (who is of Sri Lankan descent and emerged from Australia) is giving vocals that fill the void left by Courtney Love and Brody Dalle, but only when she feels like it! Either way, she rocks in a fresh, rhythmic way that's all her own. See her on tour in support of her new album, Looking for People to Unfollow, now.

Broken Baby

"Madonna's a Dick"

L.A. duo Broken Baby need to be heard by a lot more people, and this ode to systematic sexism in the music industry should be required listening in every label boardroom.

Operations Manager Robin Rose

TUSHI

"The Werewolf of Hollywood"

Come on, any band named Tushie you have to love, lol!  This L.A. Indie band call their music 'Cow-Punk + Y’allternative' /Americana Rock with great riffs and high energy-heavy hitting percussion.

Neutral Milk Hotel

"Holland, 1945"

Tragic lyricism, dressed up by catchy, distorted rhythms, make up the core of the most well-known song from the seminal indie album "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea". Jeff Mangum writes vividly of life, death, and nature, evoking imagery of vintage European surrealism and gothic folk Americana. This track is warm and full of life, but with a mournful tone tucked away behind it.
