The record is just as propulsive and melancholic as their acclaimed earlier works, but polished to reveal the nuance of every rhythm and texture. Glam and new-wave influences spill in; coupled with Andrew Wyatt’s pop-heavy ear for production.
The album is easily Interpol at their best, but through a new lens.
