Tagged “Chronicles of a Ukrainian punk rocker in the free world,” Lost Innocent World is the autobiography of Gogol Bordello main man Eugene Hutz, very likely the most famous Ukrainian musician in the world. His “gypsy punk” band (their words) have performed at some of the biggest festivals and opened for some of the biggest acts, while playing plenty of big shows in their own right too. The band has a “border-blasting message of inclusion and personal liberation," and Hutz’s book is a “deeply personal account of surviving conflict and displacement.” It’s an awe-inspiring, touching read.
