Producer AG Announces BYXXINC Sync Camp

GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, mix engineer and producer AG will bring diverse female-identifying writers, producers, musicians, mastering engineers and music supervisors together to generate a special catalogue of artist-driven, sync gold songs at BYXXINC Sync Camp in Los Angeles, September 30 – October 3, 2021.

Creators will be a diverse group of humans across the gender and LGBTQIA+ spectrums, and a diverse all-female lineup of trailer, AD, and Film/TV supervisors will participate in generating briefs and ideas for each group of creators. All songs created at the camp will be executive produced by AG and will result in real placements for writers and producers, showing up as early as late 2021/2022.

BYXXINC Sync Camp proudly breaks ground as the first sync music camp to:
- specifically focus on diversity across gender and LGBTQIA+ spectrums
- feature all-female mastering engineers
- focus on a diverse range of all-female music supervisors
- specifically focus on genre hybrid tracks
- feature female producers producing male artists
- be executive produced by a woman, person of color

“As someone who has not been allowed to be a member of many clubs, I decided to start my own club and everyone’s invited,” says AG, whose 500+ Film and TV placements include national and global ad campaigns, Oscar-winning movies, hits series on networks and streaming platforms including HBO, STARZ, ABC, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. “Women have a valuable, unique and underrepresented perspective and we don’t have to be artists to express it — we can also communicate in soundscape and vision. This camp is a celebration of female creators and music supervisors — of our ability to curate an emotional experience on-screen, be it comedic or gut-wrenching or action-packed; our innate connection to the human condition and to our intuition.”

She adds, “It’s also a celebration of our male and non-binary artist allies, who show up in the spirit of collaboration and respect for their female-identifying peers and producers.”

AG is the first creative and woman to executive produce a camp of this nature. She will be each producer’s wide-angle lens, working with the creators from inception-of-song to completion of master.

The participating supervisors are leading the industry with their work across all media — including ad campaigns for brands like Starbucks, Walgreens, Google, Apple, Nike, Banana Republic, and Samsung, trailers for shows and films such as, The Man In The High Castle, Bridgerton, Ford V Ferrari, Killing Eve, Coming 2 America, and Game of Thrones, and shows and films like Grey's Anatomy, Batwoman, The Good Doctor, Shameless, A Star Is Born, Dune, Station 19, Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Yesterday, The L Word, Transformers, Suicide Squad, and many more.

The creators in this camp include the best of the best in the Film/TV world, whose music has been heard in nearly every show and streaming platform, ads for brands like Toyota, Google, Peloton, Pepsi,  ADIDAS, Volkswagen, Target, Dove, and Fenty, and trailers and promos for shows, films, and games such as League of Legends, The Handmaid's Tale, Fate, Marvel's Runaways, Fast and Furious Crossroads, Pan, Stillwater, The Highwaymen, and Promising Young Woman.

"What a thrill to be involved in this very special Sync Camp! Taking charge and supporting each other to help close the industry gender gap is so important to all of us. 25 years of working in this business and I feel a shift in part because of super special and talented role models like AG. Inclusivity across the board, along with women empowering other women, is the key to all of our success.” — Holly Williamson, Head of Music at Big Picture (Participating Supervisor)

"I have been looking forward to the BYXXINC Writing Camp because it's essentially a creative gathering of people who are passionate about uplifting the female, BIPOC, and non-binary voices. Female, BIPOC, and non-binary voices add a tremendous amount of value to our culture, and this writing camp will be bringing together those who are of that community, and those that support that community. AG's passion and natural inclination toward the Film/TV/Sync industry provides artists with tangible opportunity to not only make a living from their art, but to also express themselves in a medium that helps to support films and TV that reach beyond the scope of a streaming song. AG is gifted in creating a container for artists and producers to create to their highest level of authenticity, and I believe this writing camp will foster some epic collaborations." — MILCK (Participating Artist)
