YUNGBLUD Returns to the US With Sold-Out Show in Los Angeles

After canceling a string of North American dates due to getting his passport stole, English alternative rocker Dominic Harrison aka YUNGBLUD made his triumphant return to the US with a sold-out show at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.

YUNGBLUD’s eccentric energy was the first thing that captured my attention that evening. He physically and musically embodies the definition of punk rock. From his bright pink jumpsuit attire to his rebellious smile and swagger, the man knows how to work up a crowd. He was non-stop running from side to side of the stage, flirting with the crowd and having the time of his life onstage. The night began with a show-stopping performance of his popular hit “21 Century Liability.” Over the course of the night, the show became a wonderful sing-along. Yungblud would cut off the music and let the crowd sing to each word. The biggest crowd-pleasers were, of course, his hit “Loner” and a new unreleased song. Throughout the show, Yungblud kept chatting up the crowd, preaching about love, acceptance and positivity. To further this point, he proudly roamed around carrying the LGBT flag and kissing his guitarist in the mouth. The wild night concluded with “Machine Gun (F**k the NRA)” and the whole venue chanting "F**k the NRA."

YUNGBLUD has a prosperous career ahead of him. He’s been heating up the charts with singles featuring top acts like Halsey, Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker and gaining more and more fans along the way. It’s only a matter of time until Yungblud stops playing in club venues and starts performing at stadiums across the country. He has the attitude, catchy tunes and youthfulness to keep punk rock alive and appeal to the younger generation.
