Women's Audio Mission (WAM) is offering a free networking event for women in the industry in the week before WAMCon Virtual begins.
Connect with women and gender non-conforming folks in sound from all over the world. Hone your perfect "intro pitch", then move into breakout rooms and leave with at least ten new connections to further your journey in audio.

It's time we all meet each other! Since the launch of WAM Everywhere, we've reached over 2,500 women and gender non-conforming folks from over 25 countries. In the week before WAMCon Virtual, we want you all to get a chance to meet! We'll start with a short presentation with tips and tricks for honing your perfect "intro pitch", then move into breakout rooms where you'll get to connect directly with each other. This is a video and audio ON meet-up, so wear your best Zoom shirt and leave with at least ten new connections to further your journey in audio!
During this time of social distancing, we are launching WAM Everywhere to bring important workshops, trainings, and networking events to women, girls, and gender non-conforming folks everywhere who are passionate about music, audio, and sound!
Women's Audio Mission focuses on increasing the gender balance in audio production and technology sectors since less than 5% of the population employed in these sectors are women. There are limited spots available in our events and they often sell out, so we ask that if you are not woman-identified (transgender or cisgender), non-binary or gender non-conforming, that you reconsider registering. We will not turn anyone away, but please be mindful that if you take up a seat, that is one less woman or non binary-identified individual that we can serve.
