Unsigned Music Awards Seeking Artists

On Thursday, Oct. 27, the world’s first televised music industry awards show dedicated to unsigned music is happening. The Unsigned Music Awards (UMAs) is seeking artists and bands, all independent/unsigned. The Awards are designed to discover, champion, fund and reward promising emerging and independent talent. The inaugural Unsigned Music Awards will take place at The Troxy Theatre, London.

Although not an altogether brand new concept, this awards show—supported by Jack Daniels, Marshall Amplification, Tunecore, Richer Sounds and TimeOut—promises to be the first of its kind to be to be televised.

The Unsigned Music Awards is seeking artists and bands, all independent/unsigned. Application is free and open now for artists of all genres. Bands, singers, MCs, producers or aspiring musicians who want more exposure and the chance to work with some of the industry’s reputable publishers, booking agents, sync agencies, managers, studios and much more can sign up here.

Applications are open until Aug. 31.

Selected artists will be offered gigs, sessions, online features and more exposure over the next few months in the lead up to the show itself.
