MTV Seeking artists, hip-hop r&B

New Show on MTV Seeking Artists

There is a new show on MTV seeking artists. More specifically, one of the show's casting producers is looking for unsigned hip-hop and R&B artists.

At the intersection of music and business, this show gives hip-hop's freshest talent a chance at every musician's dream: getting signed. Mark Burnett, the Executive Producer of Shark Tank and The Voice, joins the best of both worlds, with undiscovered artists performing in front of music's biggest moguls, each eager to sign the next breakout star.

But it's all happening in the recording studio in the first of its kind, organic music competition series that breaks all the rules. The yet untitled series will be executively produced by Burnett and MGM Television, who is also serving as international distributor.
