Ozuna, Karol G, Becky G to Perform CALIBASH

In a sign of the growing influence of women in the urban Latino landscape, Karol G has been confirmed as the headliner of the 16th annual Calibash, which will take place on the 21st and 22nd January at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. She joins a previously announced headlining group that also includes Ozuna, Myke Towers and Farruko.

The Latin urban megafest, widely known as the pioneer and still the most famous in a crowded Latin urban festival scene, will also feature performances by Ivy Queen and Becky G, as well as Jhayco, Nío García, Zion & Lennox, Blessd, Sech and Feid. Karol G will make a unique presentation, since her tour of the United States will have concluded in January. Tickets are now on sale. Bresh joined one of the most famous DJ parties of the moment.

In all, seven artists will perform a night at Calibash, a departure from the festival's early years of dozens of acts on the bill, and also a departure from the busiest charts. It's part of an effort to more carefully curate Calibash, says Alessandra Alarcón, president of SBS Entertainment, which created and promotes the show.

Alarcón says that when he took over Calibash, “I thought the public would agree that there were fewer acts, but more quality stages. I thought if we could edit this out and give the headliners half an hour, 45 minutes, I think people would be thrilled to see that. And I'm happy to say that he was right."
