GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler can now add music video director to his long list of accolades, as the chart-topping hitmaker co-directed Billy Joel’s first new music video in decades for his new single “Turn The Lights Back On.” Utilizing groundbreaking technology, the video was directed by Freddy Wexler and Warren Fu (Daft Punk, Dua Lipa), with the concept also conceived by Wexler. The masterfully shot video showcases Billy Joel performing the beloved track to an empty theater, as he transitions into different versions of himself that span many decades of his legendary career. Creating a unique time capsule for Billy Joel fans across the world, the video aims to remind music lovers of all types why he remains one of the most influential artists of all time and a generational storyteller without comparison.
