Kiefer Sutherland

Kiefer Sutherland at The Troubadour in West Hollywood

Actor-musician Kiefer Sutherland performed an exclusive concert at the historical Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA with an opening act from New Mexico's Max Gomez.

Gomez sang about 20 minutes worth heartfelt folk songs which the crowd appreciated. It set the right mood to introduce Sutherland and his band. Speaking of which, Sutherland came on stage wearing a white Lone Ranger type of cowboy hat, which he removed shortly after singing his first song.

With two studio albums in his repertoire, Sutherland sang and talked with a rugged voice, which is reminiscent to that of a Johnny Cash, whom he referenced to during his set in reverence. He sang cult hits such as "Can't Stay Away," "Open Road," "Faded Pair of Blue Jeans," along with covering a song from Patty Loveless and Lone Justice, just to name a few.

All in all, Sutherland and company seemed to enjoy themselves throughout the entire evening.
