Continued: The MusicPro Cafe

MusicPro Insurance, Sterling Select Entertainment, and Nicoletti, Hornig & Sweeney will present “Come Together,” the latest edition of the MusicPro Café, on Wednesday evening, June 10th at 8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT. The one-hour performances are webcast simultaneously on Zoom, YouTube and Facebook Live and created to provide paying gigs for musical artists whose livelihoods have been impacted by the pandemic.

These online shows provide tip revenue paid directly by viewers to performers’ e-commerce accounts, in addition to guaranteed payments provided by the sponsors. Artists will also receive PreSonus’ Studio One digital audio workstation, IK Multimedia’s iRig Stream software and promotional merchandise from Discmakers and Merchly.

This MusicPro Cafe will open with performances by selected music students, and feature: Marlhy, David Francisco, Gregoire Maret, Cliff Beach, Heather Evans and SHORE

With clubs, cafes and other live music venues closed, performing musicians who depend on local gigs are themselves in need. Not only have many of their day jobs ended, but their performance income is now also gone. The MusicPro Café gives artists a chance to reach a large audience of viewers and earn an evening’s pay. The artists each answered a call sent by various music industry companies and organizations and only had to reply with links to their music in order to apply.

“We’ve been insuring musicians’ instruments and equipment for over 20 years,” said MusicPro’s Laura Donelan. “We’re now working for them in another way, but the concept of protecting careers by supporting musicians during these trying times is the same.”
