Solo artist and beloved member of The Dils and Rank & File Chip Kinman told us about his harmonica love.
Chip Kinman: A harmonica. I really don’t know how to play it but it has ended up on every record I’ve made. I’ll write parts for it, learn to play those parts well then put it away. I often get asked to “jam” because it sounds like I know what I’m doing but I don’t…plus I don’t jam.
While we’re on the subject I also don’t make demos, I don’t audition and I never run.
