Badflower Signs to Big Machine/John Varvatos Records

Southern California rock quartet, Badflower, signed with newly minted Big Machine/John Varvatos Records in Los Angeles Monday morning. The group is the first to sign under the new partnership.

Badflower's signing comes on the heels of being named an iHeartRadio On The Verge Artist. The group recently joined the lineup for the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, taking place September 22 in Las Vegas, NV.

"I've had a keen eye on this space for a long time, waiting for a young rock 'n' roll band to capture my imagination, hoping that all the madness in this world would be addressed head-on through the power of rock music," said Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, "Badflower is that band."

The group's first single on the label, "Ghost" is now available on all digital retailers and streaming services. The single is currently featured on Apple Music's A-list Rock, Spotify's Rock This and Amazon's Introducing Rock playlists. The group was also ranked number one on Pandora's Prediction Chart.

"Badflower is one of the most powerful young bands on the Planet," said label partner John Varvatos, "With the angst of Nirvana and incredible songwriting, this is a band that has no limits."

Tickets are on-sale now for the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Ticketmaster. For more information on Badflower, visit badflowermusic.com.
