Joe Walsh Brings VetsAid 2025 to Wichita with Star-Studded Lineup

Joe Walsh is bringing VetsAid, his acclaimed veterans benefit concert, to Wichita, Kansas on November 15, 2025. The event marks a personal milestone for the Eagles guitarist and Kennedy Center Honoree, who was born in Wichita and has long wanted to bring the festival home.

Presented by VetsAid, Walsh’s national 501(c)(3) non-profit for veterans, the 2025 edition will take place at INTRUST Bank Arena and feature a powerful lineup: Vince Gill, Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen, and a special collaborative “super-set” from Joe Walsh, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Nathaniel Rateliff, and other guests.

“'It’s been a long-term goal of mine since we began VetsAid nearly ten years ago to bring it all home to my native Wichita to serve Kansan veterans and their families,'” said Walsh in a statement. “'It’s where my parents were both born and are buried, where I was born and where I will always feel a deep connection and sense of heritage and responsibility.'”

Walsh adds, “'It is with great pride and gratitude that our traveling circus of love and community will make a stop in Wichita in 2025 and that I can share the experience with my dear friends who also happen to be some of the greatest American musicians I know… Wichita is the place to be this November 15th.'”

Since its launch in 2017, VetsAid has raised over $4 million for veteran-focused charities. The event has featured major names like Keith Urban, Ringo Starr, James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, and Dave Grohl, and is known for curating a unique lineup each year in a different U.S. city with a strong military community.

While the 2024 event was cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances, a statement from the nonprofit says that VetsAid 2025 “is back and better than ever, recommitted to curating an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime festival lineup.”

As with every year, all net proceeds from the concert will go directly to veterans’ service organizations. In 2025, VetsAid will focus exclusively on groups based in Kansas or working on the ground there. Applications for grant funding are open now at vetsaid.org/grants. The vetting process is coordinated in partnership with the Combined Arms Institute.

For Walsh, a Gold Star son whose father died while serving as a flight instructor in the U.S. Air Force, this mission is deeply personal. A statement from the organization explains that Walsh’s goal remains steadfast: to raise both funds and awareness for the ongoing needs of veterans and their families.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time via selectaseat.com, with prices starting at $50. Full event information is available at vetsaid.org.
