Impact Records Announces Doors Open - Signs Tyler Conti as Flagship Artist

TMG Entertainment executives Damon Mintz and Judd Mintz (25-year business professionals with successful backgrounds in finance, film and music entertainment), have announced the formation and launch of the independent label Impact Records

Formed under the TMG Entertainment umbrella by the Mintz brothers, Impact Records will cater to the development, sustainment and longevity of the independent recording artist substantiated by a brand and music that ignites a hopeful, positive impact on listeners worldwide.

Providing artist development, publishing, management, and all-encompassing label services, Impact Records has been a plan-in-the-works for more than two decades.

“This is not an overnight success story, but rather a 25-year plan-in-the-making,” said Impact Records CEO/Chairman Damon Mintz“We’ve cultivated relationships over the years, connecting the dots, to assemble a team of veteran professionals that share similar character, integrity, passion and goals.”

“Our goal is simply to make ‘good’ music,” added Judd Mintz, President, Impact Records“We want to use our successes, and our fortified relationships, to make an impact through music and in the creative space.”

Impact Records is made up of a team of music industry professionals with a similar passion and dedication to introduce world-class talent and music that makes a difference. With “Faith, Family and Freedom” as the core mantra, the family-oriented team members and its roster of artists collectively share the “Will To Win!” (Wisdom• Integrity • Leaders • Love)

The label’s two-fold objective:

  1. to convey life-like stories, with messages of hope and inspiration, enlivened by high-quality music production that will make a positive impact; and
  2. to help our artists realize his/her maximum creative potential as a career artist notable for making a lasting impact on listeners across the globe.

The label will introduce Tyler Conti as the first artist signed under the imprint. As the Impact Records flagship artist, Conti is fitting to the label’s foundation, brand and overall message.

“We weren’t quite prepared to launch the label; meeting Tyler Conti moved us,” Damon Mintz introduced. “When we met Tyler, God orchestrated our path to point us in this direction as definitive.”

“It just took one song…to hear Tyler perform,” Judd Mintz said further. “We redirected our original plans and launched the label to give Tyler a vehicle to share his story and generate an avenue for his ‘voice’ to be heard. Damon and I could not feel more pure and on-point to support Tyler Conti in his music career and his path. The timing could not feel more ‘right'.”

Conti launched his music career alongside twin brother, Taylor, in 2002. The Conti Brothers aligned with Grammy award-winning music producer and hit songwriter, David Foster (Chicago, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton Neil Young) who signed the duo to his 143 Records imprint (an independent boutique label under the Warner Bros. umbrella).

The talented songwriter quickly made his mark to score number one hits with songs recorded by Charlie Wilson (“One I Got” and “No Stoppin’ Us”) and Smokey Robinson ( “All Of My Love”). He’s toured with Michael Buble’ and Josh Groban performing on stages in England, France, Canada and Spain. Conti launched his solo career in 2010 and made official introductions with his album, titled DREAMING.  Tyler will introduce his new single, “Everything Between,” under the Impact Records imprint on April 19, 2024.

“What God initiates, he orchestrates,” Damon Mintz stated. “Our formula is to trust in God, work hard, and put aside the fear of failure. We’re prepared to embark on this journey–full force–with Tyler Conti, who shares the same beliefs, convictions and vision, as the message carrier for the Impact Records brand.

“It doesn’t start and end with Tyler Conti. We hope to use the tools and relationships we’ve built to mentor other young hopefuls.  The ‘impact’ we make is the legacy that we will leave on the artists and the listeners,” said Judd Mintz in closing.

The label currently has initiatives in place with various organizations, charities and ministries as platforms to introduce and engage its artists early on. Conti (in his first LIVE performance as an Impact Records recording artist) is slated to perform at a private prison event (hosted by Prison Ministries) in Lorain, Ohio in mid-March. He will join Chris Higbee (among others) to perform at the Country For NOAS Kids Music Festival (for the benefit of  local foster youth and families served by the NOAS non-profit foster care agency) on Saturday, May 18 in Warren, OH. Impact Records is a co-sponsor of the Country For NOAS Kids Music Festival.

Impact Records is based in Akron, Ohio with a recording studio presence in Nashville, TN.
