2020 World Soundtrack Award Dates Announced

In 2020, the World Soundtrack Awards (WSA) will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Capitole Gent in Ghent, Belgium. Film Fest Gent is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the World Soundtrack Awards. As is traditional, the WSA gala will close the 47th edition of the festival.

Dirk Brossé, musical director of Film Fest Gentsaid “The ingredients of the World Soundtrack Awards have remained intact throughout the past 20 years—an internationally renowned film music awards show, the composers’ competition and the Lifetime Achievement Award for composers who have contributed a body of work of outstanding artistic significance. But it really is the chemistry between the people in the room for the World Soundtrack Awards soirées that makes us say year after year: this was the best edition ever.”
