Ssabastian is one of the many beneficiaries from WorldWide Musicians United's partnership with Safari Cheza Africa, a local nonprofit organization based in Kampala, Uganda. He has been receiving lessons on everything from voice and multiple musical instruments, to recording and production skills, all in a studio that WWMU donated for the benefit of his entire community.
One of the core goals at WWMU is to maximize the impact by supporting not only individual artists, but also their broader communities, thus creating a ripple effect that is literally traveling the globe. By helping underprivileged but gifted musicians gain access to the resources and training needed to realize their dreams, WWMU is laying the foundation for the next generation of youth leadership WorldWide.
