Sammy Boller: I was a teenager when I first heard Brother by Dark New Day. I was a big Sevendust fan growing up and always loved the way Clint (and John) played. When I first heard this song kick in I remember thinking it was the heaviest thing I had ever heard in my life up until that point.
I love the interplay between the heavy riff and the cleaner layered guitars above it. This is something I love to do in my own music, all these years later. Brother is still one of my favorite mixes and I use it to test systems whenever I need to hear a new set of speakers. So good.
