Written by legendary American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim for the 1973 Broadway musical, A Little Night Music.A bittersweet song about a failed romance caused by missed timing, but it has also become a metaphor for politics itself descending into comedic absurdity.Judy (at 87 and still a voice like an angel, on her Sweet Judy Blue Eyes farewell tour) made it famous and it won the Grammy for Song of the Year!

In 2004, I saw my one and only show at CBGBs in New York City. Jayne County was headlining, so you know that it was a good time. Glam-rock/power-pop group Lisa Jackson & Girl Friday also performed, and I remember loving the set. "Radio Song" is the one that sticks in my head, but I can't find it on YouTube. That said, "AOK" is another catchy slice of hard rock brilliance.
