For the upcoming BET Awards, weekend VIP Award Showcase is producing 5 Industry Parties and Showcases to spotlight Hip Hop, R&B, Pop/Soul artists in the Next Big Thing Showcases. VIP produces major industry parties & industry showcases along with the main Award Shows, including Grammys, BET Awards, MTV Awards, Billboard Awards, iHeart Awards & American Music Awards.
Thursday, June 20 will be the ‘Welcome to the Awards!’ event. Friday, June 21 will be the ‘Weekend Kickoff to the Awards’ event. Saturday, June 21 will have 2 events, a matinee ‘Countdown to Awards!’ event and an evening ‘Big Night Before Awards!’ event, & the ‘VIP Awards Afterparty!’ event following the Awards.
Each award weekend event will feature the ‘Next Big Thing! Showcases’ Live Performance, a red carpet media area of radio & TV Interviews, photographers & video teams filming the live performances for industry viewing. Among the invitees are Label Heads, A&R Reps, TV Talent Scouts, Concert/Festival Booking reps, Music Publishers, Movie/TV Music execs, Media & Distribution/Streaming reps.
