Producer: Michael Gira
This marathon two-hours and 41-minute live album, recorded in Berlin last November, captures Michael Gira and his gloriously perplexing experimental collective Swans closing out their so-called “Big Sound” era. An endlessly evolving prism of chaos, it seamlessly moves from soothing to hypnotic to unapologetically savage.
The mélange spewing forth feels as if birthed from some unholy reality, leaving humanity the task of figuring out what to do with it. An accompanying DVD is also included.
