The Growlers formed in Dana Point, CA almost 15 years ago and have been making quite a name for themselves. The Growlers played a sold-out show at the Wiltern recently as part of their annual Snow Ball concerts. With the holiday season, the Growlers turned the Wiltern into a winter wonderland on stage. As you walked in the venue, the Grinch and Santa Claus made appearances. Before The Growlers took the stage, an Elvis Presley impersonator performed a few Elvis classics. The Growlers came out in Paul Revere and the Raiders style outfits and frontman Brooks Nielsen resembled Herman Hermits’ Peter Noone with his '60s style hair. The band put on a fun show including 23 songs starting with “Neveah” and closing with “Going Gets Tuff". Just two months before the show, they released their sixth studio album Natural Affair and have been touring for it.
If you missed The Growlers in Los Angeles, they’ll be back for three nights at the Grove of Anaheim from March 25th to the 27th.
