Gene Simmons took his vault experience to the city where KISS began 45 years ago. In the basement of legendary designer VK Nagrani’s store in New York, Simmons met over 150 KISS fans over two days. With Simmons $2,000 vault, fans get 10 Discs and one bonus disc of unreleased music spanning 50 years of Simmons musical career in an exclusive book, a Gene Simmons figure (non-makeup), Gene Simmons medallion, and a secret item from Simmons' personal collection of KISS memorabilia all housed in a vault. In each city that Simmons is appearing at, fans get a special acoustic performance and Q&A conducted by Rhino’s Keith Valcourt who worked on the creating the vault with Simmons, catering, open bar, and most importantly Simmons hand delivers and highlights each vault one by one for each purchaser. In select cities there are special guests with the first vault experience having past and present KISS members Ace Frehley, Bruce Kulick, and Eric Singer.
Joining Simmons for the first day of his NYC vault experience was none other than original KISS drummer, the Catman himself, Peter Criss who talked to the crowd of hardcore KISS fans then was presented a vault by Simmons. This was the first time Criss and Simmons have been together since KISS’s Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2014. Criss last performed with KISS in 2004.
Each day started with the Q&A and performance followed by individual meet & greets. Special for this event Gene Simmons Moneybag Cane Sugar Soda was handed out to fans all day long. The next vault experience takes place in Nasvhille, TN and will include former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent as the special guest. From the first vault event in Los Angeles, CA Simmons has made stops in Detroit, MI, Miami, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, St. Louis, MO, and London, England.
