Producers: Professor and the Madman
The term “supergroup” is a little overused, and it certainly feels grandiose here. Still, these four guys have a rich punk history. Alfie Agnew was in The Adolescents, while both he and Sean Elliott were members of D.I. Paul Gray and Rat Scabies are best known for their time in Brit punk pioneers The Damned. Dreamworld is their fifth studio album and, as was the case with previous efforts, it’s not the straight-up, snotty punk record that newcomers might expect. There are elements of Nuggets-era garage, and ‘90s Brit-pop, resulting in a piece of work that has bite.
