Crē•8 Music Academy has announced a special gift for Music Connection readers: a private music production mentoring seminar on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 2 – 4 p.m. in West Hollywood.
This free event gives Music Connection readers the opportunity to ask their toughest questions about how to produce more professional music and get answers directly from top educator and music industry veteran Doug Fenske.
Eight (8) applicants will be chosen to attend based on their submitted questions, with four applicants receiving a complete exploration and step-by-step answer to their question. The four questions selected will be based on topics covered in each of the four music production courses at Crē•8 Music Academy (Initi•8, Activ•8, Stimul•8 and Liber•8), giving attendees a “sneak peek” of each course.
Producer/engineer/mixer/remixer Doug Fenske has worked on 2,000+ sessions with the likes of Quincy Jones, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Diplo, Snoop Dogg, John Legend and more. Fenske also teaches the four music production courses at Crē•8 Music Academy, offered in partnership with Westlake Recording Studios (Michael Jackson, Rihanna, the Weeknd, Adele, the Chainsmokers).
The deadline to submit to attend is midnight on Monday, Feb. 13.
