Book Review: "Into The Light: The Music Photography of Jérôme Brunet"

We’ve seen a lot of photo books, but this one is exceptional. Mainly because Brunet has captured so many of these performers “in the moment” when a song or a note or a chord is peaking. From legends like James Brown, B.B. King, Etta James to more contemporary performers such as Tom Morello, John Mayer, Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard and Vintage Trouble, whom Brunet has photographed as all members of the band are locked in and feeling the music deeply.
