WHO: BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.) will honor revered singer/songwriter Ana Bárbara with the BMI Icon Award at the 30th Annual BMI Latin Awards. The private ceremony will be hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O’Neill and BMI Vice President, Creative, Latin, Jesus Gonzalez.
WHAT: BMI’s 30th Annual Latin Awards
The BMI Icon Award is presented to songwriters or composers who have distinctly and profoundly influenced the music industry, leaving an indelible and unique influence on generations of music makers. During the ceremony, BMI will also recognize the songwriters and publishers of the past year’s most-performed Latin songs in the United States. The BMI Regional Mexican Song, Songwriter, BMI Contemporary Latin Song, Songwriter and BMI Contemporary Latin and Regional Mexican Publisher of the Year will also be named during the ceremony.
