Long Beach, CA native Vince Staples’ self-titled fourth studio album appears to be the artist’s most revealing project to date, as standout songs like “Sundown Town” and “Taking Trips” show the plight of being hood-related when interacting with fans and/or the wider world. Vince is still a smart-ass type of rapper, with a lot to say about life around him, and as young as he is, with movement in the music scene, he shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
