Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs & Englishmen (1970) is on the short list of greatest live albums. Four and a half decades later, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks gathered the surviving participants, along with bandleader Leon Russell and special guests (Warren Haynes, etc.) to do it again. The songwriting and musicianship remain unmatched.
