Jammcard Selects United Recording for New Los Angeles Headquarters

Jammcard, the invite-only social network exclusively for music professionals, has selected United Recording for its new Los Angeles headquarters. The move strengthens Jammcard's commitment to providing access to industry personnel, events, news and information. The new music technology start-up will reside in a renovated second-floor, executive corner suite.

"United Recording offers numerous benefits that complement our business," explained Elmo Lovano, founder and CEO, Jammcard. "Many of our members record here, and as a musician, it's always been one of my favorite studios. As a technology company focused on music and the hard-working professionals in the industry, we're happy to be a part of United's incredible community."

Recently, Jammcard completed a million-dollar seed funding round with the legendary music producer, Quincy Jones. "I'm excited and supportive about what Jammcard is doing for music professionals," Jones said in a statement provided to Billboard. "Jammcard elevates the industry in new ways, from connections and new opportunities, to helping represent themselves in a freelance world."

Jammcard launched as a music industry-alternative to LinkedIn, assisting musicians with networking opportunities and job searching. Today, Jammcard is dubbed the "LinkedIn for musicians" by Forbes, providing members with "cards" or digital-first resumes that feature YouTube videos and recordings. The platform also features a robust search functionality, allowing users to search for industry professionals ranging from musicians and producers to engineers and tour managers. Jammcard members are accomplished professionals who have worked with chart-toppers like Bruno Mars, Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus.

"There's great synergy between Jammcard and United," said United Recording's studio manager, Rob Goodchild. "We work with the same clients and they have an exceptional business model. They are a great fit for our studio."

Jammcard is currently serving musicians in the Los Angeles, Nashville and Atlanta areas, but has plans to expand throughout the U.S and internationally.
