The changing of seasons doesn't mean the summer heat is behind us. Mother Nature—and El Niño—have other plans for the next few weeks and if you are in Southern California or generally in the West in the U.S., there's a heatwave are ahead. Our Sound System playlist this week hopes to keep you cool while reflecting the mood of the moment. Enjoy the warm (no pun intended) sounds of The Beatles and The Bangles, mixed with the sharper, punky splashes of The Regrettes and SWMRS, and some Lorde and Siouxsie and the Banshees for a cool contrast. We hope you stay safe, sunscreened, and hydrated.
