As September came to a close, school semesters began, and the leaves start to change, so to should the appropriate soundtrack for the season. To kick off the first week of October, Music Connection brings you a selection of songs about changing seasons, cozy weather, and fall aesthetics. It's not quite time for the doom and gloom of Joy Division, but we are also long past the days of a sunny Sublime summer.
Our tracks this week haven't quite transitioned into spooky territory, but there's a hint of melancholy bubbling beneath the surface, for sure. Your "Sound System" this week includes some classics from The White Stripes, The Zombies, Led Zeppelin, and Donovan, mixed with some autumnal freshness from TV Girl and Noah Kahan.
