Samantha Gongol: One that sticks out for me was LCD Soundsystem at Outside Lands in 2016. It was the first time I’d ever really listened to their music, and the first time I’d seen them live.
We had played earlier that day, and were standing with 100,000 people in the crisp summer air, a little bit drunk and the evening just sparkled. I became a new fan that night. They just sound so good live, and I love their underplay-residency-style commitment. Although headlining Outside Lands is hardly an underplay.
Also Beyonce at Coachella 2018. Obviously.
