Today, yeule, born Nat Ćmiel, has announced she has signed with Bayonet Records. She creates music through a launchpad, keyboard, and microphone and morphs her original cinematic classical compositions into electronica. As a practicing visual artist, her works emanate her deep connection to the process of mark-making, both visually and sonically.
She also has released a music video for her song, "Pretty Bones" directed by Joy Song. The video is a surreal passage through time that montages time lapses of decay, from a rotting lavish feast to macro images of mold spores and bioluminescent fungi. It is in part a metaphor, comparing different planes of existence (i.e., living vs. rotting, digitally created personas vs. reality).
