The makers of Wholly Guacamole are hosting an open mic night talent search at the historic El Cid venue in Silver Lake, CA on Monday, Aug. 8. It’s the final stop of the nationwide Live WhollyTM Tour, a search for America’s most talented and authentic musical talent.
Local talent can sign up at livewhollytour.eatwholly.com to perform an original song before a live audience and panel of local judges. One winning performer or band will be named a finalist in the national competition, with a chance to win $10,000 to help them pursue their musical dreams, as well as an opening set for a national touring band in September.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and winner interviews offered beginning at 10 p.m.
Auditions are open to the public, and the open mic is free to attend. Monday's winner will represent Los Angeles in the national final round of the Live Wholly Tour.
