Taylor Parker: I came across COT in my teens when I moved to Tucson, AZ for a few years.
A friend of mine was obsessed with 90’s NYHC, we watched the 1995 NYHC Documentary and it was a wrap. This track is a perfect example of how hardcore can be way deeper than just speed and aggression. The beginning riff is this swelling heavy blues-esque guitar that sets an emotional weight before the drums even hit. Followed into a hypnotizing groove bouncing between heavy single string melodies, awesome full chord progression and mosh parts… masterpiece.
