For the first time in more than two decades, two pillars of Canadian rock are stepping back onto the same stage under the name that made them icons. Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman will officially reunite as The Guess Who for a sweeping Canadian tour in 2026—a milestone moment fans have been hoping for since the duo last performed together 23 years ago.
The reunion comes after a long road to reclaim their band’s name and legacy. Now, with that battle behind them and more than half a century of music between them, the pair are ready to bring their era-defining catalogue back to the forefront. The run begins May 26th at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, NB, with stops planned across the country including Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Edmonton. Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will join the tour as support.

Festival appearances are also on the schedule, including Ottawa Bluesfest on July 19th and The Pacific National Exhibition on August 23rd.
Reflecting on the long-awaited reunion, Cummings says the pair are motivated by the staying power of their music: “Randy and I are thrilled that our songs have never gone away. That people still want to hear us perform them live. We are going to go out and HONOUR the music.” Bachman echoes the sentiment, adding, “Together we created decades of incredible songs and memories that still stand strong today. Can’t wait to sing them with you all soon!”
Formed in 1965 and often referred to as “the Canadian Beatles,” The Guess Who built a catalog that helped define rock radio on both sides of the border. All eleven of their studio albums charted in Canada and the U.S., with American Woman hitting No. 1 in Canada and No. 9 in the U.S. Their run of hits—including “These Eyes,” “No Time,” “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature,” and the title track “American Woman”—earned them 14 U.S. Top 40 singles and more than 30 in Canada. Just last month, Cummings and Bachman received another nod to their impact as newly announced 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame nominees.
This reunion isn’t just a tour, it’s a generational full-circle moment. For fans, it’s a rare chance to witness two of rock’s most influential voices realign and celebrate a body of work that has shaped the genre for nearly 60 years. And for Cummings and Bachman, it’s an opportunity to reclaim the legacy they built together and bring it back to the stage where it belongs.
