The Best Gig I Ever Saw: Tenroc Salutes King and Country

GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Tenroc told us about his King and Country experience...

Tenroc: The best gig I ever saw was for King + Country.

I saw them when I was a little younger, and I remember really loving that. They were playing at a Six Flags, so we walked over and watched. I remember it was really awesome because it was the first time I'd seen anyone live. The way they set up their music pit—with instruments scattered all over the stage—was really sick. They were running across the stage to play different drums, different instruments.

They even had a glockenspiel somewhere. They had a huge tom drum with a mallet that they were using. That was really fun. I remember seeing that and being super inspired by it. It even inspired me to write differently too, a little more freer.

Tenroc's "call My name" is out now.
