Music creation platform Splice has launched a new channel on its buzzy Discord. Diamonds will be a safe space dedicated to under-represented genders and LGBTQIA+ music creatives. Hosted by GRAMMY-winning songwriter, producer and artist MNDR, Diamonds is available HERE.
Dedicated to creating opportunities, sharing knowledge, building community and fostering culture for under-represented genders (and non gendered) in music production, Diamonds will host monthly livestreams and regular Q&A Sessions diving into the world of music production, songwriting, sampling and collaboration.
MNDR commented: “Our vision is to help foster a community of aspiring artists, producers, songwriters and their allies, to create a new online culture where creatives can connect, share tips and build connections. There’s a lot of people out there who want more access to the community, and I’m excited to build new space for the underserved creative.” she says.
