Sound System is feeling spooky. Yes, Hallo-week is here, and with it comes the best dark-themed songs and wicked ditties to permeate the atmosphere. Whether you're spending this coming weekend clubbing, trick-or-treating, or curling up at home with a horror classic, this playlist will help bring the macabre vibe to life with a myriad of genres. Electro-pop beats from Snow Strippers and Lady Gaga feel apt for anyone whose costume includes leg warmers and go-go boots, and classics by the Ramones and Blue Öyster Cult feel more appropriate for a quiet night handing out candy. Gothic-feeling staples like Alien Sex Fiend and The Cramps will always be ideal for the Halloween season whatever you have planned. Whatever your brand of ghostly or ghoulish fun, this is the time to revel in eerie energy before Mariah Carey comes knocking and doesn't stop til the new year.
