“The Red Rocker” himself, Sammy Hagar, was at the Grammy Museum on Tuesday, Nov. 19 to discuss his new album with The Circle with the museum’s Artistic Director, Scott Goldman. Hagar talked about his career from fronting Montrose to going to solo to joining Van Halen to becoming solo once again, and in recent years, his supergroups Chickenfoot and The Circle. Hagar also talked about his business endeavors outside of music such as Cabo Wabo Tequila, Cabo Wabo Cantina and Hagar’s Rum, as well as hosting his own show on AXS TV. To finish off the evening, Hagar played a six-song set with Vic Johnson from The Circle.
