Roswell Pro Audio Announces Mini K47 Mic Giveaway

Boutique microphone company Roswell Pro Audio is running a giveaway promotion featuring a grand prize package valued at approximately $600. The winner will receive a Roswell Mini K47 studio condenser microphone, Boz Digital Transgressor plug-in, and a Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic Activator from Cloud Microphones. Entries will be accepted through Oct. 31, at RoswellProAudio.com and RecordingHacks.com.

Roswell Pro Audio is the brainchild of Matt McGlynn, whose microphone database website (RecordingHacks.com) remains a resource for the pro audio industry. McGlynn founded Roswell Pro Audio to develop a line of microphones.

"I created Roswell Pro Audio to deliver unique and distinctive microphones, built by hand in small batches," McGlynn explains. "We bring a boutique attitude to the process, obsessing over details. We handpick capsules and components. I personally sweep-test every microphone before it leaves the shop." McGlynn believes that's why all the Roswell microphones have received extensive praise from reviewers and endorsees. "Our mics solve real-world problems for engineers, and consistently perform far above their price class," he says.

The Roswell Mini K47 Condenser Microphone featured in the giveaway is a large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone that is remarkable for its use of a true single-backplate K47-style capsule, modeled after the capsule in the most famous microphone in history. Its transformerless circuit is designed for low noise and low distortion. Find an extensive collection of audio and video samples at RoswellProAudio.com.
