Tyler Bacon, Founder & CEO of Position Music announced the signing of Henry Verus to a worldwide label deal on Wednesday. "The Chicago native has a passionate and growing following and is quickly becoming one of the most compelling storytellers in his lane.," they said.
"Writing songs like secrets you weren’t supposed to hear, Verus has built a world of late-night confessions and velvet-edged hooks that fuse alt-pop and R&B with a cinematic sense of drama. Since first bursting on the scene in 2020, Verus has delivered a steady run of standout tracks like 'Your Guilty Pleasure,' 'Down For You,' and 'He Hit Her,' each one more raw and emotionally fearless than the last."
In making the announcement, Chris Tecca, Position Music A&R said: “From the first moment I heard Henry Verus, I knew there was something truly special about him. His ability to channel complex, deeply human themes with such eloquence and artistry at 21 years old is nothing short of remarkable.
